Please Use Words the First Family Knows
The king didn’t like it. The queen didn’t like it. Their pawns didn’t like it. Being sermonized to like that. Picked on in public. Taking advantage of them that way. Scolding them over being just what God made them. What an outrage. What a bore. And by a so-called woman bishop who wasn’t even pretty. Or inspiring. Or smart.1
That nasty something-or-other owed the new monarch a huge “I’m sorry, Sir!” for using big words like havemercymister and bemercifulunto and prayonoccasion and nationshouseonsand — that was a doozy!
With little words, it would all have been over so much faster.
